Synopsis: The film draws from real historical footage of the atrocities committed by the Japanese army during the Nanjing Massacre. It centers on a refuge called Lucky Photostudio, where a group of civilians initially focused solely on surviving the massacre. However, after developing film for a Japanese military photographer, they accidentally develop photographic evidence exposing the Japanese army’s brutal crimes against the city. Faced with the horrors inflicted by the invaders, the suffering of their compatriots, and the survival of their nation, they ultimately make the courageous decision to risk their lives to preserve these incriminating negatives.
