Jie Lu's group is working on developing new computational models, mathematical tools, and efficient algorithms for large-scale optimization and control problems motivated from applications in cyber-physical and socio-technical systems. Cooperative optimization and control that arise in smart grids, machine learning, sensor networks, robotics, and social networks are of particular interest. We invite highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree to work with us in these exciting research areas. You can check Assis. 1.Research on cooperative optimization and control in cyber-physical systems.
2.Assistance in student supervision and grant application of Jie Lu's group.
1.The candidate should have or is about to have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. For Research Assistant Professor, candidate should have minimum of three years of post-doctoral training.
2.Expertise in optimization, control, cyber-physical systems, or cooperative networks is preferred.
3.Strong analytical ability and basic programming skills are required.
