Topic：Harmonic Analysis and Mitigation Methods for Power Electronics Based Active Power Distribution Systems
Time：Jan 12, 10:00 - 11:00
Location：Room 1A-200, SIST Building
Interfacing power electronics converters are increasingly used to connect renewable energy resources to distribution systems. In this seminar, the wide frequency range resonance in a power electronics based power distribution system is investigated. In addition, a virtual impedance control method is used to mitigate harmonics in this power distribution system. Finally, the concept of multi-functional DG system is presented in order to realize flexible active power conditioning using DG interfacing converters.
