Biography:
Dr. YANG Kailin is currently a Medical Staff and Physician Scientist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Taussig Cancer Center of Cleveland Clinic. Dr. YANG has extensive research experience comprising a Ph.D. from Harvard University and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he did productive research on DNA repair pathway, and an M.D. degree from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) of Case Western Reserve University, where he studiedmetabolic reprogramming in glioblastoma in order to sensitize this deadly type of brain tumor to radiation and chemotherapy. He completed the residency in Radiation Oncology at Cleveland Clinic through the prestigious B. Leonard Holman Research Pathway by American Board of Radiology. As a Physician Scientist, he is currently developing novel biomarkers and precision therapeutics to improve the outcome of cancer patients.
