Campus plan

Shanghai Municipal Government finances the construction of the campus with an investment of 4.169 billion CNY. The construction projects totals 701,500 square meters . The floor area of the preliminary phase is 587,800 square meters with the investment of 3.503 billion CNY, including 280,000 square meters of facilities and supporting space, 160,000 square meters for dormitories as well as 150,000 square meters for underground structure.  The second phase of the project, home to the university's research-industry-academia activities, covers an area of 113,700 square meters with the investment up to 666 million CNY.
